ENGISH DEPARTMENT AWARD
Good
morning to one and all.
Honourable dais, respected teachers and my dear friends, I am
Roshni, and I
am Swati.
Friends, we had been waiting for this day for a very long time
since our head of the Department Dr. Vijay Shirsath sir made the announcement
of the IDOL OF ENGLISH DEPARTMENT AWARD to be given to Mrs. Rupali Sanap. Therefore,
we all have gathered together here to felicitate our alumna Mrs. Rupali Sanap
by conferring the Idol of English Department Award – 2022 upon her.
Friends, this is the first year of this Award and it is given to
the luckiest alumna of our English Department Mrs. Rupali for her highest
achievement and brightest career.
On this occasion, may I now request the young, enthusiastic and
dynamic Principal of our college Dr. S. R. Jadhav to chair this programme.

Friends, may I now invite the honourable Head of English Department – Dr. Vijay Shirsath to deliver the introductory
note.

Friends, it is a rich tradition of India to worship Gods in the
beginning of every programme. Therefore, may I now request all the dignitaries
to enlighten a candle and to offer a garland to the photo of Goddess Saraswati.
Friends, a candle is a symbol of brightness and knowledge. Hence, this
programme will surely play a role of a candle which will motivate us to build
our bright career in future.

today’s programme.

Friends, Indian culture is supposed to be a rich culture in the
world because we Indians see the God not only in the Nature but also in a human
being. Our ancestors have rightly said – अतिथी देवो भव! Therefore, it becomes our responsibility to felicitate our ‘Atithies’
that is guests on this sacred moment.
I request the honourable Head of the Department Dr. Vijay
Shirsath to welcome the chairperson of this programme – Dr. S. R. Jadhav Sir by
giving him a rose, a token of love and respect.

the luckiest person Mrs. Rupali who is a recipient of the Idol of English
Department Award of this year.

Now, friends, the highest inspiring moment of this programme has
come. May I now request Miss Prachi to read out the Letter of Appreciation
which is to be given to Mrs. Rupali.

Friends, Mrs. Rupali is the luckiest one to receive the Idol of
English Department Award of this year. I take this opportunity to congratulate
her for this honour. May I now request all the dignitaries to confer the Idol
of English Department Award to Rupali. The Award includes a trophy, a letter of
appreciation, a shawl and a bouquet.

Now, friends, I know that you all are eager to listen to Mrs.
Rupali. May I now request Mrs. Rupali to share her experience and struggle and
thereby inspire us through her speech.
