Letter Placing Order :
A letter written
with the purpose of placing an order for goods/things or services is called a
‘Letter Placing Order’ or ‘Letter of Order’. The following tips should be
remembered while writing a letter placing order.
· Mention a clear number of quantities. Specify it in numbers, litres,
sizes, etc.
· Standard/quality of the goods should be clearly mentioned in the
Order Letter.
· Name of the Company and the product should be clearly mentioned in
the letter.
· Mode of payment and other terms and conditions should be clearly
mentioned in the Order Letter.
· Inquiry about the mode of transportation and charges should be clearly
made in the letter.
· Inquiry about insurance for the damage or loss of goods during transportation
should be clearly made.
